Visual Arts Program
Our Visual Arts program, led by Mr. James Giardina, enables students to explore a variety of visual arts forms through a four-year course sequence, culminating with the opportunity to take an AP Studio Art course, the successful completion of which enables students to earn college credits for their work.
Over the past two years alone, our Visual Arts program has had the work of its students displayed at the:
Metropolitan Museum of Art
ApexArt Gallery in New York City
Another of our visual arts students, who served as a cartoonist for our school newspaper, had his work recognized as one of two "Outstanding Cartoon" award-winners across the United States by the American Scholastic Press Association.
